Project Description
- The project has a projected capacity of 25 MWdc solar
- Located in southeastern Alberta, adjacent to Proteus Alberta Solar 1 and 2
- The project has a land option on 140 acres of lands with a local public institution
- The 25 MWdc generation facility would require 3.1 mi of distribution lines and will connect to the distribution network at 35kV
- Project development schedule estimated to be 16 months and will begin construction Q2 2024. The projected COD date is Q4 2024
- The project is in the interconnection process with Fortis Alberta and has completed most of the interconnection studies
