Clean Energy for a Sustainable Future
About Proteus Power
Proteus Power was formed in 2021 by industry veterans to develop renewable energy projects across the United States and Canada in order to help accelerate the transition to a cleaner energy future. Our expertise covers the development, construction and operation of renewable energy projects with an initial focus on solar PV and battery storage. Our goal is to develop, build and own a portfolio of assets which provide long-term sustainability gains that are both profitable for our investors and for our community stakeholders.
Our strategy is to benefit from current market conditions by
- Developing a diversified pipeline of greenfield solar and energy storage assets and
- Strategically acquiring project pipelines or partnering with developers of early to mid-staged projects.
The reduction in installation costs, coupled with system efficiency gains, has made solar the lowest cost source of electricity in most countries. By pairing low cost solar with battery energy storage, we are able to address the main problem with solar energy, which is intermittent production.
