About Anish Silwal

Anish has over 3 years of experience in PV design and engineering in the United States as well as his home country Nepal. Prior to joining Proteus, Anish worked as an Engineering Manager at Sunfarmer Nepal, where he led the technical team that designed, constructed, and commissioned solar projects to power rural areas of Nepal. Anish also worked as a Solar Design Engineer at Ontility in Houston, TX, where he provided technical support for new project opportunities as well as solar project end-of-life management. His technical expertise includes energy production modeling using PVsyst, solar plant design & engineering in PVcase and solar site planning in AutoCAD.

Anish is currently working as a Development Engineer and is the technical lead for design & engineering activities for all projects in the development pipeline. He works closely with the development and finance team and provides them with optimized layout and accurate energy production models. He works as a technical liaison between the Development team at Proteus and external technical consultants.

Anish holds a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder and a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kathmandu University in his home country Nepal.
