About Hugh Tarpley

Hugh has over 30 years of experience in the energy sector with a strong focus on renewables for the last 15 years.  Hugh has developed over 1GW of renewable projects consisting of over 80 projects.  In addition to his development expertise, Hugh has extensive experience in commercial power transactions such as Power Purchase Agreements, ancillary services, and merchant transactions.

Prior to his renewable experience, Hugh was a co-owner and operated two gas-fired power facilities totaling 1,750 MWs in California and Mississippi. While at Dynegy, as VP of M&A, Hugh acquired assets of over 5 billion in enterprise value.

Hugh is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame Mendoza College of Business Accountancy Program.
